About the Author

Jerry Shine is a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, a former ship captain and a freelance writer. His work has appeared in such magazines as as Audubon, Wired, National Geographic Adventure and approximately six dozen other publications, including numerous dive magazines. He has spent more than 25 years diving in New England and now lives in Somerville, Massachusetts with his stunning wife, Daisy, and their incredible son, Zeke.
